In this Spring Break I had the opportunity to visit the town of Metz. It is one of the most beautiful cities I've evry visited. My group and me went there through Compass Organization of Kaposvár. We were invited by Together France and our trip was supported by European Comission. The project's name was Street Culture and we had to make a RAP song and it was recorded there.
We went to Metz three times and at the end of the week we went to Luxembourg.
Luxembourg is a very nice place but I have to say, Metz is much more beautiful. The cathedral and the old quarter of the city is incredible. Metz is the capital of Lorraine region. It is located at the confluence of the Moselle and the Seille rivers. Although historically Nancy was the capital of the duchy of Lotharingia, it was Metz which was chosen as the capital of the newly created région of Lorraine in the middle of the 20th century, because of its past history as the capital of the region of Lotharingia - an origin found much more republican-friendly than the duchy-related theory, pointing to Nancy as the region capital.
I can just offer everyone to visit this part of the world because people are very opened and the city is wonderful.
